Government favoured Rupert Murdochs media empire, says outgoing Ofcom chief – Press – Media – The Independent.

I picked up a copy of the ‘i’ Newspaper yesterday.  Front page news explained that Government ministers were ‘too cosy’ with Rupert Murdoch (News Corp).  A main point of interest from the article is that the interview explained that media control in Britain is in danger of falling into ‘too few hands’.

Another point to note from the outgoing OFCOM chief, is that he believes ‘vulgarities no longer upset the public’ citing comedian Frankie Boyle’s joke about Katie Price’s disabled son, Harvey on Channel 4.
