Verisimilitude (Noun)

  1. the appearance of being true or real.
    “the detail gives the novel some verisimilitude”

From the latin: Veri = true and similis = like

How accurate is the representation of reality in the narrative? This is the verisimilitude!

What a great word! Why not use it in your analytical work?
