Outline Brief

For my critical investigation I’m going to look at the way working class women are represented in period drama like Downton Abbey. I’m going to use several theories to relate to my critical investigation, these include Feminism, marxism and hegemony. These theories all relate to the struggle of working class women in these period dramas.
For my linked production I was thinking about creating a television trailer for a new period drama highlighting the representaion and the struggles of working class women in war time britain.
